The Slim Jim Wall Lamp is half sculpture, half light,literally. This wall-mounted, half-round form is cold-molded from red cedar, a process that yields remarkable strength while maintaining an elegant lightness. Its tall, tapering silhouette flares subtly at both base and crown, creating a sense of lift and proportion that feels architectural yet warm.

Designed and built by Hudson Valley–based Aaron Getman-Pickering, whose work draws from cultural artifacts, traditional joinery, and boatbuilding techniques. The Slim Jim is available as shown or by custom order, allowing adjustments in scale, wood species, or finish to suit any interior.
